I have an 1997 Indy 500 Extra 10, now my question is, for rough trail riding, whats the best handleing way of setting up the front coil overs? Soft or hard? Same goes for the back coil over. I've got all new suspension, so I want it set up right this year so I am not killing my back. :bash:

Coil overs are about how the front end handles (all 3 of them). Good starting place is just tight enough to keep them from rattling with no weight on them, straps all the way loose. Rear springs/shock is about the ride. Torsion springs should be set for the proper amount of sag for your weight. Something in the 2-3" range is pretty firm for the rougher stuff, maybe go an inch more for a better ride in the smoother stuff.

The straps on my sled right now with me off it are tight, is this to tight or just right, not sure what they are like when I am on the sled, I weigh a `185. I have the fronts probably set up right then, the back I'll have to check still.
