I live in my house LOL Ontario Canada. Some of the best trail riding in North America
Ride mostly in Ontario. Have been in Quebec a few times. Nice there as well. Would like to find the time to hit the trail in the UP Michigan. Supposed to be great there as well. Would also like to try New York. Tug Hill area.

I live in the great state of Minnesnowless.....but it looks like this year may be far different from the past couple years.

My goal, take a trip to the black hills in the near future, was out there for the sturgis bike rally and the scenery breathtaking out there. From all the research I have done on snowmobiling out there, would be a paradise.

Go to page 34 on this brochure if you also are interested in going out there one day....

[/b]
Ive been keeping busy. Im more on HCS nowdays, but Im on various other sled forums too. This site is a little slow sometimes, but its a good site.
Ive been doing some mods on my sled, nothing serious but things that I think will make it better for the conditions I ride in: 2" bar riser, Pro-X seat, low "sno-x" windshield and I blocked off one of the hood vents (I had the throttle ice-up on my last winter). We'll see how it goes. Im thinking about doing something with the clutching, its a little too mild right now. Im not entirly crazy about any of the new sleds that have come out lately, so I figured why make my current sled into what I want. Besides, $9000 for something I can only use a few months out of the year is crazy. Im hoping to be able to find a Pro-X 440 or maybe even a 440 IQ for cheap 'cause a 440 is the only kinda sled that will be able to handle the type of riding I like to do. I cant complain about my 600 though. :D
All in all, I cant complain. Things can always be worse. Im just kind of anxious to ride my sled. I did all those mods, plus I just bought a new Polaris leather jacket, so you can imagine how it is. With a little luck I will be able to ride on December 23rd. Ive got 10 straight days off of work over X-mas and New Year's and with a little luck I should be able to ride over 1,000 miles over that span. Im hoping to ride 2,000 miles this winter.
You and Snowmutt should come up to Minocqua sometime this winter. You can go out riding with my group. I ride with my parents, my brother and his wife. If you do, Im sure I wont be hard to find. Most of my riding suit has orange on it.

I am from Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Canada a border town to Sault Ste. Marie Michigan..I have ridden in both the upper Michigan and norther Ontario, I have found that upper Michigan gets a little boring because it is mostly flat and straight old railway systems, I do like the price of the trail permits...I love the trails North of the Soo Halfway Haven to Wawa to Chapleau to Timmins awsome trip with lots of great scenery...check it out it is an awsome ride to plan for 2 to 3 days... Snows on the ground gotta go!!!!!!!!!!!

I live in Indiana. Indianapolis to be exact. Would love to do some far out excursion to the far North Ontario. It's fun to look at a map of Ontario and see how remote some of those towns and forts and Indian Reservations are. I would love to visit someday. Always wanted to do a fly-in fishing or hunting trip up there. Stuff you only get to read about in mags like Outdoor Life and Field and Stream.

Mostly because the tree huggers that live down there in and around Lansing stop any kind of industry from coming here because they think it should be their own private park to come paddle canoes and ride mountain bike. Look at a plat book from around here and see how much land the state has been buying up, they want to own any land adjacent to water.

BTW, I live in Wakefield, MI The heart of "Big Snow Country" in the western UP of MI.

And by southern, I don't mean around Barrie, Ont. LOL

We're very fortunate here with the abundant quantities of lake affect snow we often get. Had a couple weeks of riding in so far in this area.
Too bad my sled wasn't ready yet and I was too busy to get it together.

Oh well, enough with the crying. I go back to work after a 10 days off on Tuesday. That'll bring back the snow.

Born and raised in Saskatchewan. That's where I sled too. Not a whole lot of gromed trails around me so I have never bothered to go looking for them. I just ride in the ditches and across fields. That's the kind of sledding that I enjoy any ways. I think I'd get kinda bored riding a gromed trail with no bumps to watch out for and no big snow drifts to play on.
