I am thinking of upgrading my rear susp. on my 96 mach z ,but if I do ,I would also like to improve the front. Is there more to it than replacing the shocks? *I know the 97's have more clearance,I'm assuming they have longer shocks for longer travel.OR do I have to change other parts too?
* I know someone here will know this!!

Fast used to sell BLT front susp for the F sleds. Look into that year MXZ stuff.

The radius arms are longer , and I think the trailing arms mounting holes for the radius arms are in a slightly different location, Also If I remmber the tie rods are longer. I did the same thing to a 95 mach z. Great improvement. Another mod for the f doos was a *replacement steering linkage bellcrank. I think Fast made them. Basically it changed the ratio of steering input to ski movement. It greatly eased the steering of these heavy f triples.
