Hey guys! Im new on the forum and actually a cat rider :whistling: but have two DOO questions for a buddy. I will ask them in seperate topics.

Look forward to getting to know you all!

Two nights ago when we were rideing the dash lights/spedo/tach/handwarmers all quit working :cussing:

Once we got back to the garage we found that the 20amp accessory fuse was blown. Is this normal? I will also let you know that this sled has the DOO heated shield accy hookup(dealer installed).

Please advise if there may be a potential problem or if this is most likely a freak incident.

Thanks!
Chree

Hey Chree,
Is his sled an 05? I thought it was an 04 or an 03? I thought it was the first or second year Rev that he had. I'm not sure though

I'm just guessing here, you could check the manual ( I don't have the manual) but I swear I was looking at my brothers couple weeks ago and I thought it was a 30 amp fuse.

the manual shows 20 amp. I wonder if he upped it to a 30 amp because it kept blowing. seems to me if you add on accessories more current would be flowing thru that circuit and you would have to up it??? not an electrician but does that sound logical?

it's a 20 and i popped one once when the male connector to my shield came out and touched the chassis. leave it as a 20 or expect to burn down something. unless he is overloading that circuit then there has to be a problem.
