RevIAm picked up his sled ('04 GSX w/ 600 SDI) from the dealer today & they told them that the SDI sleds were being recalled to check the wiring to the E RAVE valves. I thought we had this checked back in the winter of '04? Does anyone know about this? I checked the recall section & didn't see anything.

I know my 1000 had to go in for updates and one of them was for e rave cables. the inside and outside of the cable cover come apart or something causing them not to work. mine were ok but replaced anyway. I would think this applies for you 600 as well.

Rav valves on the 600 are vac operated. On the 1000 they are electric. Rev you only have to clean yours there are no Cables.

Recall or service bulletin? If it was a recall, it is something that gets mailed out to each owner and is mandated by the government for safety reasons. A service bulletin is a voluntary campaign that is only performed when a customer complains about a certain condition. So, that being said, I never received a notice on my 04 SDI. I can remeber something being done to it in 04/05 that sounds like this, but damn if I could remember!

I asked @ the dealer today. They said that the only "bulletin" (I guess recall was the wrong choice of words) was back in '04. They checked mine when I had the initial remap done. I guess RevIAm's hadn't been corrected before.
