This week we get an envelope in the mail that's addressed to someone in Ontario, we live in southern IL. The only similarity in the address on the envelope and ours is the house # and the first word in the name of the street...everything else is different. :dazed: Ontario and Canada were clearly written in capital letters. No wonder the term "going postal" evolved...someone was really sleeping on the job.

Was there at least money in the envelope to make it worth your while :D

Kidding, just kidding. Every once in a while you hear these stories, like the letter that fall's behind a piece of machinery and is delivered 40 years later! Considering the volume of mail and the equiptment that sorts it I'm surprised they do as well as they do :christmas:

Was this the sled they used to deliver the mail?

I bought a 500 cc burette from the UK valued at about $300. I had arranged it and some other chemistry supplies to our local high school as a donation. The supplies were expedited and arrived 2 days after the school presentation. The box finally arrived folded in two reduced to a cardboard Marrocca. The box was clearly marked on all sides in both "official" languages "GLASS FRAGILE and DO NOT BEND". I never got anywhere with Canada Post because it wasn't insured. Does that mean if it was insured they would keep sending me broken merchandise for free???

 Sorry to anyone who works for Canada Post, don't bring any firearms to work.
