I picked up a '99 Mach Z with 4400 miles and have a feeling the shocks are worn.

Would replacing them with rebuildable HPGs off of an MXZ work okay? *I'm not sure what size or year MXZ they are from but it has the same 42" ski stance and they measure 14.5" center to center mounting holes.

I believe that you'll find that you can't do this do to thew mxz shocks being alot longer than a Z's. This has been asked before though I could be mistaken.

I had a 99 Mach, it won't work. *The front suspension was shortened for better aerodynamics (crappy ride).

If I'am not mistaken the MachZ shocks are 15 1/2 or 16" long.
My formulalll shocks were 19" put on 98 HPG's that are 18" and 97's are [I think] 16" so 14 1/2 would really pull the nose down.......
