: Mountain & powder riding forum
permafrost 09-19-2002, 02:22 PM I think it would be a great idea. *It might also attract more people. *It would be for all brands http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif . *I don't know the work involved to get it up and running and even if space is available.Anyone got any input.
Mikadoo 09-19-2002, 04:18 PM I woud be interested! Not so much mountain riding but we can all relate to powder riding. That's why I built a MachZ renegade http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
paddy 09-19-2002, 04:33 PM Would love to see a seperate forum for mountain/powder

Anyone else?
2tone800X 09-19-2002, 06:51 PM sounds like a great idea to me. *like mikadoo said, we can all relate to some powder riding.
NDMtnSledder 09-19-2002, 08:02 PM I think if you added one we would get alot more people for the western areas on here. *It would be nice to hear some of their experiences and maybe even meet someone to go riding with if I ever make it to the mountains.
Thats all I got, I think I'll change my name to "lone California" I don't think there is anyone else in here from California, Yeah I would check it out.
jwheeler 09-19-2002, 08:44 PM Sounds good too me, i doo alot of mountain riding or should i say side hilling, because thats what i have to doo to get anywhere, i knew i should have got that summit. http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
Sled Dogg 09-19-2002, 09:01 PM Would be great to get some of the guys from other sites that ride the higher elevations and deepp powder. They know all the places to get light weight parts and related stuff. Most of those guys are really on there game as far as chassis mods go.
Caleb
highlandergerman 09-19-2002, 09:35 PM Yes i would like it, please.
Crazymtnx34 09-20-2002, 12:03 AM I would be especially interested. *Since I am from Idaho, the only reason I ride a trail, or make one, is to get to the moutain riding areas to climb some hills and find the untouched powder. *I feel like a loner on here with most everyone being from the flat grounds of the eastern U.S./Canada.
doopilot 09-20-2002, 01:43 AM If it can be done, I'm all in favor of it. I try to go west for a week each year and there's a wealth of info that could be tapped into by including the mountain segment of the snowmobiling population. http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif *Besides, people like myself, zr500, phazerhater, etc. wouldn't feel like we're on the edge of civilization anymore. *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif
sled-head 09-20-2002, 02:12 AM All I can do is learn.......I have some questions for the high mark guys.

permafrost 09-22-2002, 08:59 AM Hey dan, 45 minutes north of your house is some really good powder running. *I also know of some abandonded ski hills near ST Donat that are almost unclimbable http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif They are usually blessed with at least 5-6+ feet of powder every winter except for last year were you had to travel farther north to get the good stuff.
Greenclicker 09-22-2002, 12:19 PM Bring it on!
summit 670 09-22-2002, 12:32 PM Yep, we need a mountain/powpow forum

jwheeler 09-26-2002, 08:13 PM now how did you get stuck there??? http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
regor 09-27-2002, 07:57 PM Glad you liked it. It may not look that big of a hill but there's a good hump at the bottom that robs you of your momentum. I think It should be mentioned that we were up to our armpits when we pulled her out.
PANTERAONE 09-27-2002, 08:14 PM your armpits,and over my head http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif * http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif
PANTERAONE 09-27-2002, 08:19 PM forgot to mention regor did quite the jump on that hump(that he didnt see)went straight up in the air then hit the hill, you always see those ones just before its to late http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif i dont think there was a ski mark the first 20 feet up the hill
