so im getting a gps for christmass and i need a little help. i like the garmin gpsmap60c. except you cant add memory to it so ive removed it from my list. the lowrance ifind h20c seems like a very good value for the money but i guess it does not have a compass ,which i was looking for. i found the lowrance expedition c but i cant find a price on it but it seems to have the options im looking for ive also considered the magellan explorist 500. how much are the sd cards? im looking for a detailed map of canada ontario being of the most importance. from what i can figure the lowrance models are the easiest to use . any opinions or suggestions please

I use a Lowrance H20 and it works excellent. The map size you can load is unbelievable. I basically have from New York City to Winnipeg on board with a 512M SD card and not even half full. You can go to a GIG if you want. I paid 50.00 for the 512M SD. Same as my camera.

I looked at all the brands and the Lowarance I felt was the best sledding GPS out there. I spent months researching, testing and looking before I chose the H20.

And Yes it has a compass. Customizable screens and loads of features.

Very accurate and grabs a signal better than the Garmins or Magellans.

Go to their website and download an emulator to play with.
