2" should be no problem on your sled. *Like someone else said in another post, make sure you cut your zip-ties if your running out of room. *That will give your cables more play.

Does anyone know what the max riser I could put on a 99 mxz 670 H.O. without any new cables or wires?

Usually 2" is as high as you can go mostly because the brake cable won't reach. 3" is too high .

i did a 3" rise,but had to move 3/4 inch forward also to keep some play in the cables
