I guess It happens on roads because thats when It's under a load....when I'ts on snow the track can spin ...but when the sled hits dry surface the drive train hits a certain load and she boggs...then takes a minute to recover....It Is strange.........

im gonna guess that it is the original track, no? if thats the case, then thats why it bogs in that situation..there just isnt much to old track design to give it bite on that terrain

from your description it's hard to diagnose.thinking pilot circuit or clutch.how does it idle when running ok or do you need to keep running with throttle ?you may have one of the pilot jets plugged or restricted. or when you come to a road clutches may be hanging up not back shifting to lower gear. i'd clean carbs and clutches then try.

when you come to a stop. open hood and see where belt is in clutches. it should be down in primary clutch[one on engine]and up top on 2ndary clutch. if belt is not one is sticking.
