I had mine rebuilt by http://www.rmstator.com/index.php & they had it back to me within the week. I live in Sudbury On & they are in Quebec close to the Maine border. They guarantee work for 1 yr. If you can't find one this would be a good alternative to new & less than half the price. I don't think you can do it. mr.zr600 12-25-2005, 11:08 AM come on guys.. i saw a post on here or arctic chat telling what you did to run the EFI stator on a carbed machine... theres extra outputs for the fuel pump and #### on teh EFI stator.. i dunno if you just dont plug them in or somthing?? who knows?? The coil placement and resistance values (which relates to voltage and current output) are different. P.S. I have replaced several carb and EFI stators in 98-2000 machines for myself and club members. I have had luck having carbed machine stators rebuilt, but I have never had an EFI rebuilt stator work, and I have tried several rebuilders (I have 3 of them on the shelf to prove that they do not work).
