Hi, we have a 91 exciter II and I made the mistake of changing the plugs. ooops. So now the head was taken off and it the threads have been retapped and (not having a manual) I don;t know how tight the bolts need to be. can anyone help with that?

Be patient, I know someone here has a service manual for the Exciters. I'm envious, I always wanted one of those sleds.

The cylinder head torque is as follows:

Head Bolt Torque, 1st stage: 14 ft-lbs / Head Bolt Torque, 2nd Stage: 20 ft-lbs

Cylinder Nut Torgue, 1st Stage: 14 ft lbs / Cylinder Nut Torque, 2nd Stage 24 ft-lbs
