I am heading to Gaylord for a weekender next week and staying at Rays Retreat Country Inn. From what I saw on the web it looks to be a nice little bed and breakfast with direct access to the trails  . Anyone ever stayed here?
Let me know! SWRules

Just got back from the U.P. Gaylord is really hurting for snow catmanchree! :bash:
Might want to consider staying a little farther west where the snow is uaually good
like Alba Landslide Inn (http://travel.michigan.org/detail.asp?m=6;0&p=G22628)

Yea, I know :cussing: . I heard they got a few inches two nights ago and more is forecasted for Monday night. Can any locals on here give me an accurate update to this?
Fingers Crossed!
Thanks!

Like Locky, I will also be stayin at Ray's the same weekend. Him, and I and a bunch of other freinds of ours will be riding that area that wekend. A friend of mine lives in the Gaylord area, and he say the trails suck right now, but with a little snow they will be back in shape. I live north of Gaylord about 50mi. the trails suck here also.

Just so you guys know, Rays was a pretty nice place if you stay upstairs. In my opinoin it is well worth the extra 10 bucks for the nicer rooms upstairs. Location was great, breakfast was great, and hospitality was second to none. Definately much better than the Holiday Inn. I will be staying here again!
