Any of you clutching gurus know what the stock secondary pre-load setting is for my 670ho? it is set at b-4 - this sled is stock except for 144 picks and shorty carb boots. any help would be nice. my dealer set it up this way and the clutches get so hot its burning up the belt!!!!!!!!! it has real good bottom end but no top end.

My manual says the H.O. is set at 15.4 lbs +-1.5 lbs. preload stock. Setting B-4 is 30 lbs. with the stock spring.

Try A6 or B6, that will put at 18 to 20 lbs. somewhere *in that neighbourhood. I had my HO
set at 16 lbs for awhile last year but I found the clutches got too hot.

yeah, at the stock 16 if you ride in powder they will get kind of hot.

Doo any of you 670HO riders have a good clutch set-up?
A buddy has a HO and would like to improve the clutching.

Holy shet, 30 lbs.. in general if your not in between 10 and 24 lbs on a doo something is amiss actually the only sleds we run alot of preload on coincidently happen to be little ones but that has more to doo with the primary set up, but I get a little concerned when I get up to that 24lb range that I`m not looking at something right.
