Up here in the great white north we have, Points and a few other outfits like them . *They are run by x-cops. *They can usually save the day. *Sometimes it is worth paying a few hun to them, to avoid insurance preimum increases.

You may want to get your speedo checked for accuracy.

You could:

A) Flee the state/country(move to Canada, they have snow), never to return *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
B) Skip the fine, always looking over your shoulder and sweating like a pig (no pun intended) everytime you see a cop http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/nervous.gif And if they do catch you and throw you in jail for not paying your fine and/or appearing in court.....request to be sent to a prison in the U.P. so we can all stop by from time to time during the winter and say, Hi!
C) Pay the fine and get it overwith

I'd go with © or if you're single (A)'s not a bad shoice either.

Thats hillarious Butch800. *Regarding choice A) it looks like alot of people took that option during the Vietnam draft as I cant even count how many draft dodgers live around here up in the woods.

I was under the impression for canadians, that we had to pay the fine on the spot http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif *or go to jail. *They take visa , mastercard... This has happened to friends. *It might be only if you are out of state resident. Any ideas?

Show up in court & hope the trooper doesn't. The judge may throw it out.

You were speeding - so pay it

I know a few cops in town - ride with them all the time. If you try to fight it, knowing you were speeding, you will get nailed again and again.

My buddy did this to some guy. Caught him the week after speeding again.
Waited in the same area - caught him again later that night.

When asked by the driver if he was being fair he answered this
"I court you fought me and won on a technicality, proving I am too inexperienced in doing my job. So I am stopping you to get more practice!"

We all have our speeding bills to pay at the end of the month http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

every thing is legal until you get caught http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif no need to p off any law officer cause they will win in the end .. It just was`nt you`re day and I`ve had many myself. usualy to get one fixed it need`s to be done before the work shift is over... but that never happens http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/baaa.gif

When i get pulled over in MN i show them my conceled weapons permit. *Often we start talking about what i am carrying, *then they normaly say take it slow. *and off you go. *just a thought. *also a good radar detector helps.

Don't try that last one in Canada.

It won't go in your favour. *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
