I just picked up a 2002 summit 800 rer and the dealer said that he did not trust the ski-doo updates. I think it has the original setup and then he played with the carb adjustments until he got it right and he says that it should be as good as the newest update and carb setting. Any feed back would be appreciated.

Welcome to the site summit guy. *This would be a perfect post for the mountain and powder riding forum I am trying to start here at SW http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif Check the recall section here at SW *.Last year for my 02 mxz renegade *I had the carbs adjusted with the special tool kit sent to the dealers . It required pounding a punch into the carbs to reset them. I also had the Mpem reprogramed. I dont know if this is a summit thing too, but i am pretty sure it was for all 02 800 doo's.
