Can't say I blame you for wanting to show her off. *That is THE Sweetest looking REV I have ever seen. http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif * The colour schemes are excellent . *It looks so much better than the orange/yellow X packages. The yellow seat, bumper and psycadelic(sp) skiis add some major style. *Where do you ride Jeepster? The laurentians. *I love that track http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif
Was it factory installed or did you put it on at the dealers and is it a bombardier track? Sorry for all the questions but i ordered a 1.75" for my 03 GADE. *Looks like your ready for a run with Team Renegade http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

I mostly ride in the Quebec side in the area of notre-dame-de-la-sallette, maniwaki, mont-laurier. Yes the track was factory installed and it's a 1.75" bomby, all of the rest was extra and installed by me at the dealer. I had to order the yellow bumper from a 2 tone rev. I'm still whaiting for my yellow grills and trancelucide yellow windshield. Oh and one more thing you guys can't see, two 100 watts gold coloured bulbs. http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

WOW -- great job!

I have a black 800X coming and would like to do some of what you did...

where did the parts come from?

all the parts are bombardier, and since I work at a doo dealership, I install the parts the same morning I receive them. All the peolple coming to the store are freaking out on it. it's been in the showroom for a week, and I allredy ordered at least 10 pairs of the 2 tone skies, and a 12 racing covers for future rev owners. I think i'm going to charge my boss for leting my machine in the showroom. http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Jeepster.....she's the best looking REV I've seen yet...... I thought the *stock black rev, just looked like another black sled, like the *other ones *we have all owned in our life time, but you have got this one trimmed out really nice!! *What do they get for the yellow bumper trim piece that fits around and *up under the hood... that really sets it off??

Now don't go out there and scratch it all up!!! Dooz *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

sorry for the keyboard RNM2399, guess I should of put a big warning sign at the beginning of the post.

"please be advise that the contents of this post may make you drull, faint or just freak out, view at your own risk!"

The skiis cost 79.99 each, the same as all of the other precisions, I also will get the rear tunel kit so it will look like the back of a normal zx chassis.[B]

well skidoowes, if i'm not mistaking, the bumper is 49 or 69 $ CDN, I will check in to that. About painting the grills, I'm waiting for the yellow tracelucide windshield so no hurry's for the grills. I should get both at the same time. Supposed to come in the first week of october. Can't whait to finish it *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Thanks for checking on the bumper price... that solid yellow windshield part (handlebar cover)... is that available in the catalogue? *I will have to order soon I guess. My machine is in... dealership is waiting for temp gauges to come in before prepping it for me. *

What about that tunnel change... thats an aftermarket kit (not OEM?). *Is it a kit? *Does it have an extra cooler? *Details, details... I need something to take the edge off... quick!! * http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif

Jeepster, On the handlebar grips, did you follow the directions or did you happen to use any glue to hold on the grips. Also did you do anything special around the wiring?

Thanks in advance

I don't think there is a rear tunnel kit? last year when I drove the proto-types one of the sleds did not have the snow flap on and it overheated. these sleds had no studs and and the trail was hard pack. I think with the regular tunnel they will not get enough cooling when on hard pack or ice.

rev it 800x, I did not use any glue to put the new handlebar grip, I actually had to put grease to slide them on they where a paine in the @ss to install . I had to put the kimpex heat grip stickers and modefy the wireing a bit! For all of you, I still have to show you the finishing touch. The photo should be on this site as soon as I get my freakin windshield. (back order till November 23rd) As for the extension, I contacted the engineer that worked on the REV, and he said that the snow flap on the rev gives an extra 10% cooling, and if I change the back of the sled to what a convetionel sled has, I had to put longer cooling plates (something like from a summit 151")
