Rotax makes many engines for different bike manufactures. *They make or have made them for Aprillia, Bmw Ducati Ktm ATK Cagiva Can-am and several others. *Some have the name rotax on them while some others only have there name on the engines.

Rotax is an Austrian company that bombardier eventually bought.

Every Skidoo and ATV made by bombardier has a Rotax engine in them. *bombardier bought rotax awhile ago so it is like a bombardier engine.

Harly davidson uses the 650 DOHC rotax for there 650 racer, Aprilla for there bikes and so on. *But its all Bombardier Rotax.

The KTM engine uses Rotax transmission cases as well as assorted other parts.

It was in the late 60s or early 70s that Bombi bought Rotax outright. Before that, Ski-doo had been buying the motors from them.

Doo you know Honda is the largest engine manufacturer *in the world, Rotax does not own them.
