Just wondering what the longest lug length of track I can put on the sled for next season without changing drivers?
if i did decide to change drivers, where could i get an 8" from these days?

from what kind of newer sled will i find an E.T.T Fox shocked suspension that will bolt up with no hole drilling?

i am seriously considering ordering this stuff up and swapping it all out next year. i do way more powder riding than trail riding, so it would be a worthwhile investment. the fact that the stock suspension for the ext is hard and has really $h!tty shocks doesn't help either...
thanks for your help

I pretty sure the front mounts on your EXT are in a different location then the TSL suspension. You might be drilling.
Tell you what, I will measure mine at lunch for you!! Any skid out of a 97 should slide right in. But the front location on 98 and up is different. I was going to put a 2000 Sno Pro in mine... different front holes.
But if you were to find a 97 ZR or 97 to 98 ZRT with Fox shocks... should work better.
Front shocks as well... look for 96 to 97 ZR with Fox!
I have a friend that can make you a set of Fox shocks... but his here in Ontario!

I believe a 1.5" will squeeze in on 9 tooths. Wahl racing can set you up with the drivers, as can a number of other sources if you do decide to drop to 8 tooths for more lug depth.

As to bolting in an ETT without drilling new mounting holes, it isn't going to happen. They all mount in different locations than your skid. You could either freshen your skid up with new shocks, or you will have to drill to mount a different skid.

Ok, measured my 97 with ETT and TSL, 23 3/4" center to center for the tunnel mounts... now on a 2000 ZR700 21 1/2" center to center!
SO, measure your 96 for center to center, if it's close to mine, you should be able to fit an tsl suspension under your sled. It won't be a perfect, but should ride better then the 8.5" fastrack.
Oh yah... are you studding the sled?? Or just running a deep lug track.
A 1 1/2" paddle will fit, BUT DO NOT STUD IT!!!
You will be ripping out the front heat exchanger if you do!
