I was going through my carbs and when I measured them they are 42mm. I can't find anythin on them. 34mm, 38mm, 40mm and 44mm are the only ones I can find. Are they're any changes I should make if they're bored? I have great throttle response and seems to run good.

it should be marked what size they are on the back side.if you are facing the end of the carb that attaches to the boot it should be marked on the left side of the slide housinf on a flat.probably the only flat surface on the carb.
did you just buy the sled or have you been running it with these carbs?maybe contact the previous owner?
i had mine bored to 44 0n my 97' but i'm pretty much running the ho specs with some porting.here's what i'm running now.mains 390,410's,pilots-60,jet needle-224-aa-4,with the stock 97 needles right now,in slot #5.i have the same needles as the ho's use on order.
i'm running these carbs with k+n's so i'm a little larger on the mains than you would need.
before Christmas i had 370-390-mains,and 224-aa-3 needles in wide open my plugs looked good but had a lean blubber mid range ,this was at about -5 degrees.

swish, you might want to try BB-0 needles to get rid of the lean mid range condition.

are you running the BB-0's?what all do you have done to your sled and what are you running for jets?
i added another 2.2 grams to my arms today and it seems to be pulling pretty good.temp was arounf zero and plugs look almost perfect for this temp.i'm going to increase another 2 sizes on the mains to 400-420.
