Just got home from Quebec.Felt like spring sledding...warm temps but LOTS of snow.Gone for a week 6 days of sledding...lots of good food and good times!
My brother is a Yammi nut....he had his new Apex.Hubby had his 05 RX1.The usual sled banter went on.
Here are my brother and I,he is giving my sled the thumbs down!

I LOVE my new sled....sdi...LOVE it...x package...love it! Shorter track than my renegade....cool and quick on the twisties....quick off the throttle....LOVE this sled.My sled was better on fuel than brothers new Apex.

Hubby wanted to try my sled...we got on "The Monk" over 200 kms of STRAIGHT...far as you can see trail:

Once we did a bit of the "Monk" hubby and I traded sleds...I got on the rx1......NO LIE and sorry Yammi folks...if I had to drive that I would rather not sled.Darted all over the place.Hubby loved my sled...Yammi is for sale.My brother says it is because hubbys sled has single runners...whatever it is I sure could not wait to get back on my sled!I even managed to take hubby out of the hole...my version anyway...he is full of excuses!

The skidoo also had to rescue the Yammi...and here is a picture to prove it!Hubby got stuck...I sure loved when my sled did the rescue!

So it was a great trip...came home to 16 c or 60 f...no snow...no sign of snow...so I guess travel to Quebec is on order again!

Glad you had a great trip.

Those are awesome pics.

Since I'm a die-hard-Doo-Nut, it was a great evaluation on the various sleds. LOL

No wonder we haven't seen you on SW lately. Looks good w/ all that snow. 500 miles so far for me. What motor did your 'gade have Kat?

Great looking sled.

Do you have problems with the handguards + the medium fixed windshield?

Glad you like it.

So glad to hear that you love your new ride  . I am glad to hear that the X package was nto too stiff of a ride for you, but they have tamed it down a bit since 01. How many kilks did you get to a tank? My needle stops bouncing at 140kms and I dont think it would make it much past 160. My next sled will be a SDI no doubt.

Where did you guys go in Quebec? We are leaving for Lac ST Jean in a few days. Will be buying a season permit as we plan on returning before the snow leaves. Looking very forward to it as I havent been to Quebec in a couple years. We will be going with DanR his friend Snef, LadyK , myself, red rocket and crazy B will be putting the new Summit 151 800HO to the test.

Even w/ the rain you had, it was better than the sled "problems" your gang encountered last winter on your trip. Who had the black REV in the 1 pic? @ least you weren't outnumbered by Yammis.

Perm, other than a short spin on MikeD's Revagade last winter @ Lillabelle, my only experience on a REV was a '03 800X. I was quite surprised that the suspension wasn't too harsh for a "lightweight" like me  It was the handling I wasn't fond of. The guy that owned it is aggressive, so I imagine he had it set up hard.

Perm,
I'm sure you have your accomodations arranged, but in case you don't---While in Roberval ( on Lac St. Jean), we stayed at the Chateau Roberval. Nice place. Great meals, and secure lock-up for sleds. Hot tub also!!
