This has a track from Bala to north bay. It is fairly clean map with good labels. Enjoy.

This will replace first post

Here is my Tracks and waypoint file. there are a few changes from my last post.
The tracks are call by trail name "A", "B", "E101" if there is a "A-1, A-2" these are sections of a trail. Some of the tracks may have too many points to load on your GPSr. You may need to reduce the number of points. If you load this file in mapsouce it will be ok as is. Remember trails change from year to year and my not be exact.

I made some changes to the file Fixed the name of a couple of trails HD700's have been corrected to SLSR700's
Add more way points

reved, when do you find time to work :D ? You've pretty well got central Ontario covered  .It would be nice if we could get some tracks from south of Kirkland Lake & in the North Bay area posted. During my travels this winter, I'll try to add some trails that haven't been posted.

Finally, do you have to convert a Garmin "file" to a zip file to post it?

Here's what I'm thinking of doing to get around the large number of tracks. Open a new Mapsource folder on your computer, then copy & paste the tracks you want to use into the new folder. Then transfer those tracks to your GPS.

That would work in most cases....but say you want to go from Amprior to Eganville to Bancroft to Apsley thats 23 tracks...over the limit of most GPS's. And then if you wanted to take a different route back....

For the example above there is way to get around it...use the track creation tool in Mapsource and draw a new track on top of the segmented ones and load that into your GPS.

For creating a master map though my suggestion would be to try and combine as many short segmented tracks as you can.

Is that found on the "Tools" tab?

Yes the track draw and editing tools are listed under Tools. To have them appear on the toolbar click View...Show Toolbars....Track Edit.

[attachmentid=29129]Revrd, here is an installable map for Gramin.you can load it into Mapsource on your PC. It can also be remove with the add/remove functionin the control panel.
If you load it in Mapsource you will sww all the tracks and waypoints that are in my .gdb file but it will be a map that can be saved to your Garmin GPSr. In Mapsoure the map is not transparent, but it is when uploaded the the reciever.
