we're here in houghton and just got back in from a ride. we put on 102 miles today, it does't seem like much but it is if you don't get out till 2pm. We had to do some repairs on a sled this morning after a shock blew out yesterday. It took us 3 hrs in the back of the trailer with a mr. heater going (to make it bearable) to get the skid back together.
as for the conditions, we went south today towards twin lakes AWESOME...... we blasted down the trail at a real good clip. we had a little dusting last night to freshen things up. Tonight we are supposed to get 2-5 which will do alot of good escpecially for road crossings and gas stops. We took the freda loop tonight on the way back after hearing about this trail last night and it is a winding twisty turny 5-8 mile trail that you can cruise 60 on. the corners were great.........
