Has anyone ever given their sled a suspension lift or herd of anyone doing this. My brother made a new bracket for his mach 1 and lifted the sled an extra 3 inches[img]

Check out snowmobileworld classifieds, there is a 1996 Summit with a rear suspention kit. It looks like it raised it 5-6 inches & it also changes the performance of the suspention. Looks like a good upgrade for the
C-7 suspention :D

There was an upgrade kit for the C-7 suspension, but that 96 Summit wouldn't have it. The 96 Summit used the SC-10. A 94 or 95 Summit would have the C-7 however. The 94 and 95 were also still in the F chassis, while the 96 moved into the S chassis. The only real difference between them(S and F chassis) is the bodywork, which made a significant difference in their feel and handling.

I thought that Summit looked like a 1995. I found my 1996 catalog & you are correct TimberPig. The 96 Summit did come in the S-chassis with the sc-10 suspention. Anyway the Summit in the classifieds that is listed as a 1996 has a C-7 upgrade kit :D
