hey everyone..
i was lookin at getting a new helmet, and was really considering getting one of those motocross style ones, with the goggles.

does anyone use these? how are they compared to a conventional full face helmet. i wear glasses does that change anything??

It sure matters if you're riding in 40 below temperatures. If you're sledding in Lake Tahoe's 50 degree weather then you could probably get away with it. Although if you're sledding in areas where stones might be turned up by the sled in front of you on a trail, you may wish that you had the full helmet.

I prefer the style of helmet that I just bought, the full face kind with the front that completely flips up (not just the visor).

I agree - I have the same type of modular helmet - full face opening is nice. Although a open helmet with goggles is nice when its warm out. Depends on your situation.
