I am looking for a used 2 up seat for my wife's 99 600DLX, or suggestions on how to best convert the existing seat to allow my 8 year old son to ride along with her. *

He has gotten too big to ride along on a one person seat, but the cost of a new 2 up seat is prohibitive ($700). *Has anyone tried the 2 up conversion kits to add a second person to a one person seat? * Their is stuff in some of the catalogs, but I do not know if it works.

Their is also a new product from Jack Industries in CA * www.industriesjack.com *that looks like it is a backrest conversion that might work, but I am not sure.

I have heared the seat jack is alright for smaller riders but its not cheap either, but there is 5 on ebay for sale, check out the link.

I've seen people use them with small riders and it seemed to work good.
Sure beats a new 2-up seat or a whole new sled for the few times you
be doulbing.
