Hey everyone.

Riding along the other day and all of a sudden my rpms jump like mad. So i stop, shut it off, lift the hood and see my primary clutch sitting in the belly pan of my zr700. The clutch bolt seems to have snapped off in the crank. I got it out with an easyout luckily. Hopefully theres no damage to the crank. N e ways is there n e thing i should look out for damage wise and if not does n e one know the torque specs to put the clutch back on. thanks alot.

thanks for the reply. What would cause this bolt to break?

700`s are notorious for being hard on clutches .that also includes the clutch bolt`s ...could also be the result of an out of balance condition , or mabee a defect in the bolt its self .
