I bought a 1993 XLT w/ 6100 miles and all seems well except for when I reach 60+ a noise (tissssss) a loud tingy hiss come from the clutch area. I can really hear it well when I let off the gas at high speed and the noise stops when speed reaches 55 each time and never changes. I talked to the dealer i got it from and he thought it was the belt against the gaurd but I lifted the hood and gaurd w/ track up and noise seem to be coming from clutch when its fully engauged. Seems uncommon but maybe someone will know this. Thanks BDHM

It was secondary sheave rubbing againts metal plate on the side of the air box. took screw driver and pushed back into place. now is fine thanks, bdhm
