Snowmutt and I went to Traverse City this past weekend.. We were traveling up I-75 when I started to finally see some snow that could be rideable.. I was looking out the window and mentally riding my sled through the ditches ect.. In my head I would go up and down the big banks next to the freeway. The really scary part of it was I was actually having some mental fun with it all.. :lmao:

I asked snowmutt if he ever did this in his head and to my surprise he said this. " What are you talking about hun? I have been riding that ditch for the last half hour" LMAO !!!

Is there anyone else out there that does this? I have it really really bad you guys ! however, I know I can tell you all about my illness because I would suspect a lot of you understand it.

I do that all the time. In the summer I'm on my bike when I ride the ditches/median. I always thought it would be great to run down the median in fresh 12" of virgin snow for real!!!

Yep, I'm constantly doing it too. I'm always looking for big snow drifts and nice jumps and imagining me and my sled playing on em. Takes the pain away from driving on the open prarie some times

:p My favorite imaginary ride is those monster hills along side I-75 where the freeway was cut through the hillside between Grayling and Gaylord. I've always fantasized of hymarking those bad boys.

Puree and I did the same thing heading back from the SW ride. During the summer, I'm always scoping out fields and ditches and marking in my head where the hazards are.

Wow, I am normal!

I wish this thread was started before I paid the shrink! LOL.

Now if I could only find a way to deal with my hostility over no snow.

Here I sit dreaming about doing it it but actually not doing it. And I dream about sledding too! LOL

Do it again, I didn't stop. I have a problem & yes I admit it, I am addicted to snowmobiling :lookaround: I can't get enough. I love the white stuff :inlove: When it is all gone then I look for the water. Guys that I work with bug me when I want to ride on the water. They told me I should buy a seadoo. I tell them that is why I built a watersled. When I am out riding my watersled, I pretend that I am riding in the powder carving away untill I sink my sled then the snow melts :D
