I have a 1997 XLT RMK for sale. Has low miles. around 1400. Has electric start, may need new battery. It needs new crankshaft bearings, and a new piston. I took the head off and one of the pistons is chipped a little on the side. It will still run, but needs some work done. I am in college and dont have any money, or time to put into it. I have just put a slip on SLP silencer on it, It is brand new, maybe 5 miles i rode with it on. There is a couple of black marks on it from me leaning over to work on it, and my pants caught on it. And one of the ski, the loop isnt attached to the ski. I hit something and never had time to fix it, so i just have tape on it for now. The skis still work fine, good wear bars. There are 2 small cracks in the hood, one right on the bottom, and it has been drilled out so it wont get any bigger. Another one in about the middle of the hood. i have taken pictures of both of them. and I just had some carb work done by putting all new needles and seats in it. It is clutched for the mountains, I have both sets of weights and the spring, for high altitude, or no altitude. It has ACCS so it adjusts itself when in the mountains. I also have the original muffler for it. This is a very nice sled. It comes with a Polaris cover also. I am asking around 1300 for it, or i would take a resonable offer. can email more pics if anybody is interested.
