According to the ASPA website the TOP D western approach to Thessalon is closed this winter. You use the TS#1 to bypass town then use TOP D from the east to enter town. Since Hwy. 17 bypasses Thessalon, I'm not that familiar w/ the town. Is gas readily available from the trail? I'd hate to have to run around town asking locals how to get to the gas station.

My list shows 121 miles (unconfirmed) from Iron Bridge to the Soo. I could make that w/ my sled, but the others I'm not sure. I'd hate to run out of gas east of Heyden on our last day.
