all the different pulse tachs have me confused. i am trying to rig a tach onto my panther, for which there was never an electric tach available, so i am kind of in the dark. i hooked up the tach from my '80 TX on it. it was reading about 5000 RPM at idle. so i am thinking that if i get a tach with "double the pulse," it should work, right? i have not been able to find any general info on how tachometers work, so any links to some info would be great. and does anybody know what pulse tach is on my TX?
