My son lost his key to his mxz 380. I wanted to know if anyone knew how to hotwire one. We have a trip planed for this weekend with friends and have no time to take it to the dealer. Please help

if it's a DESS sled, I don't think it can be done.

ANY dealer should be able to do it, not just the purchasing dealer.

couldnt you put pull off the plug in the back of the switch?

i know on my sled and well as others that you can just reach in and grab the connection switch and pull it off

if its non dess if you unplug ignition . the sled will start but headlight wont come on.

Ski doo didn't start making the MXZ380 until 2001, which would definitely make the ignition system a DESS plug type.

unfortunately, you've gotta be VERY good to get around this.

I've only seen it done once.

No DESS on fan cooled sleds.
