To All NY Residents and folks that ride here:
The NY State budget proposal for next fiscal year, buried way down deep has a proposal to raid the NY State Snowmobile Trail Fund to the tune of $2.5 Million. We are attempting a grass roots campaign to make sure this doesn't happen. This is our money, not tax dollars that we pay into the trail fund for the sole purpose of having it returned to clubs throughout the state to build and maintain the trail system. This has always been a sacred cow before, but our politicians in Albany are trying to be sneaky. I've attached a couple letters-please feel free to copy and paste and send them in. The more we send in, the more chance we have of making this not happen.
