Will still wait for the rest of cat lineup to come out in mid march but im leaning toward the Phazer mountain lite. I don't think cat will come out with a 80-100 hp 4 stroker sled for under 10 000$.

For a Vector Er its going to be around 11 800$-12 100$. I thought the cat would be in the same price range. To be competitive with it...but not really for 1500$ more.

With TD/Primmium they base their premiums on the sleds value, not the engine size. Hopefully that won't change here.

Can't see spending $13,500 for 123 horse power, there's got to be better deals than that.

That's about $8500 US, doesn't seem out of line with the other makes of same class.

Your math is a bit off. $8,500 US is $9,700 CDN. $13,500 CDN is about $11,700 US

The dealers don't know anything about this sled yet so how can they be quoting a price? They won't find out until the dealer show in March.

He just received the msrp price today from his cat regional magager or something like that.

thats the msrp,,, what will the dealer let it go out the door for?? you see other sleds with the msrp at 11,000$ US yet the quote you a price of 9200$ out the door.
Lets wait a bit to see what the price ends up being.

I sure hope Cats put a 165hp+ in this new chassis, or I will going to a Doo next year. I can't buying something with less hp (123) than I already have!

My dealer said he was getting one next week to demo. But said no prices have been released yet.

I have read a number of, "My dealer said....", over the years on various forums. Experience has shown about 99% of that is, ah, highly imaginative. :whistling:

My dealer is Lewiston Motor sports. Ask anyone on here. He may not be the first for info. But he doesn't lie. He may not get it in the next week, but he will have one, and he will demo it. That is why he is one of the top dealers in the country. That is why he was invited out to West Yellowstone next week to demo all sleds as one of the first 50 dealers in the country. You don't have to believe me. I'm just stating what he said, and I don't do it often. Because, like I said, he's not the first for info.

Hey, just relating my experience with this of around ten years. Doesn't imply anyone lying, but I know of cases of misunderstandings happening. Even with a local dealer. I'm assuming any sleds some dealers get will be for demo purposes, only. That's happened before. Kind of late in the season for a relaese you can buy and take home right away. That generally happens in early January, if it is going to happen.

Cat's mid release is always late. My brother in law and sister have bought many of them and usually you are lucky to get one ride with them before you store it away.

I was my Cat dealer Sudbury Boat and Canoe today and they say they will have a demo next week of the Z1 Jaguar

They have the Z1 flyer right on the counter

Make sure you ride it and give us all a report!!!!!
