Buddy of mine is in the market for a used sled. WE ran across a 97 XCR600 in pretty good shape, however it has 5600+miles....I was wondering how high is too high to pay for this thing....Any input would be nice....G

My brother-in-law sold one 2 winters ago in excellent shape with only 1800 miles. I think he got $1600 for it. I don't know if that helps you or not.

That's the triple/triple in the aggressive chassis? Never been a big fan personally, though they do sound sweet.
It really depends on what needs to be replaced right away before you use it. If it's clean and ready to ride $2000CA would be ok, and someone would likely ask as high as $2500CA. If it's in need of maintenance you should get it for as low as $1500.

Sled is mint. This guy took excellent care of this thing the only thing wrong with it is the rear shock needs to be rebuilt. My buddy paid 1225.00 so I think he got a good deal...G
