HELLO MIDLAND LIQ
I'm at home today , or I could be more helpful ...I,d have to look up my past posts
on this form , or snowgoer form ...too slow at home ,26400 k phone line.
I looked this up for someone before and we'll see if memory is any good,,
the 78 should be a triple cog front shaft , the cogs are same as prev liq and cyclones , bu they just used 2 cogs .....the internal / involute cogs from all old Deeres should fit ...the old 300 , 400 , jdx etc subbed to the new part # for the
76,77,78 liq and cyclone ....so old cogs should fit but maybe not as strong ???
I will recheck this Monday if I remeber and repost answer.....
Probably some old Deere dead around your area or try JT's in NewLowell,,,
I was in his yard 4 yr ago and lots where outside and inside in pcs ...
Your biggest prob will be knocking out roll pin and sliding on shaft...
Suggest lots of emery cloth and grinder on any of the salvage shats or cut the shafts ....you need to save your shaft ...maybe smash / cut the cogs of it
good luck...RON ....(work at Hutchinson Farm supply, JD dealer in Stouffville)

Ryley......
if you "google"......" liquifire am52913 " you find a list of people
selling new ones , and the 1st retailer also shows models and
years of what they fit......AM52913 was the latest part # used
by Deere ..looks like $25.00 us dollars ,,but watch out .....the brokerage
over the border can sneak up on you ...usually ~~~40.00 bucks.
my connection was too slow to open zr580cat , site he listed.
give it a try , might be Cdn .... :)
RON ....
ps ...are you going to / or already part of antique and classic snowmobile
club of Canada........... info on club can be found on www.acscc.com
just $18.00 per yr...

Hi Ryley
It seems you were the person I responded to Last Dec31 when you
asked this question before ...you started the thread Dec 7.....
possibly you never went back and checked it again after a few weeks ???
There is another response after mine also ......To find them .
go into "profile options" in the upper RH corner of your profile page.
It will list all previous entries you have made , or anyone elses profile .
I was poking diff 'buttons" and found all yours ,,,puddle jump etc .
RON
ps Sorry I didn't email you last time ...but this is current and you should
get this info from thread. :)

I know Johns Recreation here in Ohio has them, but I still havent been down there since we talked last time you posted. I have a trailfire that I am working on right now and may need to make a trip that way. If I do get there, I promise to get you a phone number so you can get in touch with them. John is an excellent guy to work with and will help you in anyway he can. I know I bought brand new John Deere clutch springs from him for a liquifire that I did last winter. So he has quite the inventory there,,,,
