The issue was brought to our attention yesterday, perm was having the same issues. I think Corey is looking into it.

What day did you notice it Paul, jeff said it was like 3 days since he was last able to get on.

I think it is time for another monthly issue. If they can't get on they don't know there is a problem to complain about.

Corey, I'll contact them when I get home from work. I was going bonkers all weekend as I couldn't surf SW & had to ride a Poo on Sunday as my sled wasn't quite ready :(

I was chatting w/ DPaige this afternoon & he filled me in about the Sympatico issue.

after 2 1/2 hours on the phone with sympatico it has been documented all the tests on my home system and the problem they say is SW. i knew that because sympatico is bell canada and ,,,,,,

can this be a never ending story?

The issue has finally been identified by Telus and a solution FOR EVERYONE, REGARDLESS OF YOUR ISP, is underway.

Again, please understand that this is NOT a SW issue, rather a Backbone problem that is affecting select ISPs relying on erroneous reporting information.

Reports have come in from users of Sympatico/Bell, Telus, Verizon, Rogers, and others. A solution is currently underway at the provider and access should be restored soon (can't say exactly when) for these users.

The Telus fix has already been applied so those users should be able to access the site very soon. The fix is now being propagated to the other ISPs involved.

Welcome back to following ISP users, so far:

Sympatico/Bell

Telus

If you are from another ISP that was unable to connect with SW, please post here that you are back.

Well I am MOST glad to say it is fixed. I can certainly say it was a LONG week.
I spent over an hour on the phone a couple times with MA Bell myself. The issue was with a Bell nexxia hub.

Revrnd , by your description it sounds like everything has gone to hell in a handbasket. :)

Spent alot of money to get computer fixed. Byte by Byte in Bancroft did a great job fixing her up. I was going through such withdrawl from the site , G-friend took it in to get worked on. We thought it was our computer going bad, not a net problem. There goes the window tinting fund Perm. lol . Oh well I'm a happy man, new burner drive , and it's alot faster, well as fast as dial up can get. lol

Well I'm glad to say that I didn't have a problem at either Jacqui's place on MNSI or at my place using Rogers.
I hadn't tried my Primus.

The past few days I have not been able to get on at home. I am on AOL dial up. I get an error message that sez website not responding reload. It continues to come up with the same message everytime I reload. All other sites work fine.
