Yes, I know its an ugly machine, but hey it gets me icefishing. Formerly running great, this 300 inviter single cylinder has gone from humming along, to rough start-up, backfiring, and poor idle/stalling, in the space of one trip. Wondering what your thoughts are. I run amsoil, and have changed the plug. I also run gas line antifreeze in every tank. Bad gas?? I'm thinking of pumping out the tank tonight. Your thoughts are appreciated! Thanks in advance!

fuel line bad?? impulse line bad?? dirty fuel filter?? something get into the carb?? I would check your spark and make sure you have GOOD spark,,, then you can rule out the fire,,, you are down to fuel and with some simple testing, you can have it back up and taking you ice fishing in no time.
