All i could find is that it adjusts the mixture but did not tell me why. It performes the same functions as fuel injection with the performance of a carb. All it does is optimise fuel and air mixture. EFI does the same thing. A regular carb cant and will run what ever it is set at no matter what conditions. dooman 10-01-2002, 05:58 PM dpm,leans the air/fuel mixture as temps and elevation rise.it does nothing below -4f,you are running off the main jet below this temp.much better than efi,in the sense that I can make mods,and jet for them and the dpm still functions correctly.hope this helps.I would buy it on any sled I could ,it is worth it, IMHO.
