What a year.I bought me a new 900 rmk and let wife have my 04 800.(She is actually an excellent rider) In december we were up in the sierra bouncin our happy butts down the fresh groomed trail when my wife falls off the sled and we watched helplessly as it bounced from tree to tree down the mountain.total wreck. Two weeks later me and a couple of my crazy mnt ridin buds are up on duncan peak wondering if anyone had ever rode off the south side.Looked good to us..so off we go.Things are gettin a little hairy about half way down but we are at the point of no return so we kept going.BIG mistake.Rolled my new 900 down the mnt again bouncin from tree to tree. What a year. And now we have the best snow in years and here I sit.......Typin my woes on snowmobile world.com. :bash:

Thanks guys and yes the Insurance covers the loss.Of course there is a adjustment but we will come out ok.And to answer the how big question ,we ride at 8 to 9000 feet level.Keep in mind that these are the sierras and 70 miles west and your back at sea level.
