I bought a new 550 and I found that it had a really lite drive clutch on it. I wondering if anyone knows if I could upgrade to a higher end aftermarket drive clutch (pto).

Yes a TRA 2 will fit in place of the lite clutch. Just make sure you transfer the starter ring gear to the TRA clutch as its part of the balance system.
