I know one driver how got a chance to compete for the seat in their new program.I think there are 35 talented young guns who get a shot.anyone know any others?Boston Reid ,is a kokomo In. native with a great background of racing and he is just 19.just like Jeff Gordon he has run q. midgets on up to the sprint he drives now ,for Bill Davis.the same Bill D. that owns Ward B. #22 dodge cup car.tabbed to drive a busch car in 2 more years for Davis he had to take his shot at the f-1 deal, could you blame him?even if he does not make the f-1 deal watch for this young man.he drove John Bickfords car at 15,John is Jeff Gordons step fater.shown here in his shop with Davis' car.

Formula One is huge every place except the US. And those drivers get huge bucks just to strap in. Ferrari paid Schumacher 25 million just to drive plus his endorsments and winnings.

You're exactly right caleb,

People think NASCAR is big, which I will admit it is in the US but F1 in Europe is absolutely ridiculous.

I have gone to the Montreal Grand Prix for the past 5 years, after seeing for the first time with my father in 1983.

3 years ago, the company I was working for was doing the North American advertizing for Jaguar and I got to go to the English grand prix at silverstone.

The company put us up in an amazing country house in coventry, about 5 miles from the jaguar head office. We really got the royal treatment.

The best one I have been to by far has to be the Grand Prix of Monaco which I went to last season. If you ever want to see a beautiful city, beautiful people and more money than you have ever seen before this is the place to go.

the reason red bull is doing this american driver search is to generate u.s. interest in the f-1 racing series.they starting a f-1 program and want an american driver, hoping it will bring fans as well.I was told Bobby East, son of chassis man Bob(BEAST) ,turned down the offer. I like stocks but man those f-1 cars buzzing 17,000+ rpm is something, and like the others stated they make big money.
