Hi all, I think I know the answer to the question already, but I will ask anyway. If you are running lets say 35:1 gas to oil ratio, on a 04 F6 EFI, will your plugs still read chocolate brown or would they be black? Thanks!

the funny part of the efi is that the more oil you use the less gas you use, because only so much fuel will pass thru the injectors if you have a higher ratio of oil you will pass less gas,so iwould guess they would be brown

I would think that at 35/1 your plugs would be black and sotty and your APV's would be gummed-up but good.
50/1 is the factory spec.
For trail riding, 65 or 70/1 is safe when using high quality lubricants.

Your plugs will be darker in color for sure. Make sure you do a wide open blast and shut it off quick for a real good plug reading. If you do it when it is cold or at slow rpm's it will give you a false rerading, wet and oily.
