I have an 02 xc edge chassis and wanted to know if 1.25" studs are ok to use. Do I have to use tunnel protectors and if so, what type or manufacturer do you recommend. Thanks for the help..

I put 1.25" studs on my 02 XC 800 with no problems not one stud has contacted the tunnel. As far as the tunnel protectors I think the heat exchangers that run the entire length of the tunnel act as the protectors. I didn't add any extra protectors to mine and have had no problems.
