Pete/NY, 2 more friends and I went to the Owl's Nest Lodge (http://www.owlsnestlocge.ca) last Thursday for 4 days. We hooked up with the guys from Ontario Trail Conditions (http://www.snowmobileworld.com) (Fraz, Zeke and James) and had a wonderful time. Kudo's to Rich and Bobbi at the lodge. Very nice place to stay, excellent prices, great food and a fun time. Conditions were springlike and we had to pick and choose where we rode, but had fun and added 448 miles to the clicker.
I did learn a new respect for the 'gades.

Well worth the trip. Money wise, very reasonable. Comfortable accomodations, nice people. Bobbi makes great meals. I got out for 3 nights with 1 dinner, 2 breakfasts and several beers for $145 CA. 4 of us in a 6-8 sleeper cabin. Doesn't get much better than that. We had a grill supplied also and made a last night party out of everything in the refrigerator-venison burgers and sausages, Hot Dogs, etc. A good time all around and the riding was a blast too.

Wow, price was certainly right!! Always nice to finish the season off with a last blast. Personally didn't get the chance and know I'm going to regret it for 9 months :dazed:

One of my friends broke his arm today. Crappy season for him, now golf and bowling are out too.
Truly an outstanding time on this ride and my other Ontario ride with Bosscat tours. Lots of fun!
