My catalog list the same piston for the Z440 from 1998-2002, so there theoretically shouldn't be any difference.

the number has to be for a z440 sno pro, not the same as just the z440. 2001-2003 have the same cylinders, same heads, same piston and ring set. 2000-2003 have the same con rod, wrist pin, pin bearing, same engine gaskets. 2000 has its own cylinders, heads, piston and rings set. 2001-2003 have 67hp, 2000 has 62.5hp. ports must have changed perhaps, i don't know if the 01-03's would work in my 00. where could i call for tech support?

Sorry about that, my mistake. But it appears you are out of luck I can't find anything else that would cross over. It seems that the pistons in the 2000 were only used in the 2000 Z440 Sno Pro, and the 01 pistons were only used in the 01 Sno Pro, the regular Z440 pistons were used in alot of the 440 from the 70's-2001+. You might be able to try to contact Wiesco at questions@wiseco.com.
