Here's what i read on another site.

Stock it never drops below 100 foot pounds of torque from 5000 up and peaks at 125.6 foot pounds at 6700 and 165.6 hp at 7200. From 6700 to 7200 it is over 120 foot pounds. .

With air box mod to remove restriction it never drops below 100 foot pounds of torque from 5000 up and peaks at 128.7 foot pounds at 6800 and 171.6 hp at 7200. From 6700 to 7200 it is over 125 foot pounds.

With the y-pipe in place it never drops below 100 foot pounds of torque from 5000 up and peaks at 135.4 foot pounds at 6800 and 182.7 hp at 7200. From 6700 to 7200 it is over 130 foot pounds.

I have a friend who ordered 1 a few weeks ago. He already know all the mods he will be getting for the machine. I can say that I am very impressed with the stock 900 so this should be interesting at the shootout. im just hoping the stock 1000 will give the apex a strong challenge

I really don't think the Apex will be any sort of a challenge whatsoever.

No kidding. If the F1000 cant smoke an Apex stock vs stock something is wrong with the Cat.
If the displacement is equal, a 2-stroke should win easily every time.
