Thanks for the trip down memory lane Corey.

My buddy had a 67 Chevelle with a twin turbo 454. (30 thou over)
He had his waste gates set at 12 lbs I believe which would give him 700HP.
He could increase them to get up to 900HP.
We went on a similar ride and he'd be rolling at 30MPH and gently apply the gas and it would go all squirelly all over the road. He had 10" slicks (wheel wells weren't tubbed) and ladder track bars but it just wouldn't hook up to experience the full potential.

However, he could never keep it cool enough.
If he was on the gas, he'd be over-heating it shortly.
He ended up pulling the motor which ended up in a 22' speed boat that relied on the lake water running through it to keep cool and it worked in there. He sold the car minus a motor and then bought a 72 Nova.
It had the little 350 emblem on the fender and a column mounted shifter to go along with the front bench seat.
Of course he put another 454 in there and had a B&M Starshifter on the floor.
Talk about a sleeper car. LOL.

Yea, then there was my 69 Chevelle.
I put a 350 in it. (Aprox. 375 HP)
Turbo 400 Shift kitted, 12 bolt posi.
Buckets out of a Camero. Nice mags and big buns.
A ton of other goodies not to mention money.
I sold it just before I got it running.
I had just gotten my trucking license and started a driving job and figured there was no way I would ever go back to working in a factory. I knew if I put it on the road, I'd loose my license way to quick and then be forced back in the factory. Racked up several speeding tickets with my 454 Short Box Chevy as it was.
I sold it to the kid next door for way to little money.

Man, life will suck when my mind goes and I won't remember any of this. w00t
Why was I telling you all this? :dazed:
What was I talking about again?
